What I offer
Creative Portraiture and Photographic Storytelling services
Editorial work, for magazines, other publications, and promotional purposes. Some specific examples are in the drop-down under Work.
Portraiture, for branding or personal use
When I’m photographing people the process is important. I want to get to know my subjects, so I start with that. I enjoy the discussion, and it helps everybody get comfortable. From there we’ll develop an approach to depict you in creative, memorable ways. We’ll discuss ideas, and then we’ll get to work.
My clients often tell me that they feel a sense of closeness that comes through in their images. As if we’ve really captured them. My subjects are also often surprised to have enjoyed the shooting process. It’s a great pleasure for me when a person loves the outcome and is appreciative that we worked together.
Fine Art Pieces
I periodically offer Limited Edition Prints, seen in the “For your Walls” section
I make books, sell them regularly, and will be steadily releasing more. See the “For the Table” section
I also sell other prints regularly. Check the fine art galleries my portfolio and let me know if there is something you like.
Why Me?
Most people look for three things in a photographer. A photographic style that works for them. A relationship that makes the creation process easy and enjoyable. And a great sense of trust. I would choose the same criteria. That said, my work has been sold in galleries in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, won awards, and been displayed in a variety of books and magazines.
Until we meet, all the best to you and yours,
